I am a licensed Master of Social Work in Connecticut, Virginia, and Texas with 10 years of experience providing therapeutic services to clients across the United States. I earned my Bachelor of social work from Sacred Heart University in 2013 and my Master of social work from the University of Southern California in 2015. I've worked in a number of different clinical settings including community mental health, intensive in-home services, non-profit, and most recently private practice. My clients have included children, adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, substance use, and major life stressors.
I have training and experience utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy, problem-solving therapy, motivational interviewing, and exposure and response prevention. I utilize empathy, compassion, and a supportive space to assist clients in overcoming obstacles. I help my clients to identify triggers, set boundaries, and deal with anxiety.
I believe that everyone deserves to live a peaceful and happy life without the weight of past trauma or anxiety about the future. Starting therapy can be scary, whether it’s your first time or your third time. But if you’ve made it this far, maybe it’s time to take the leap. The sooner you begin therapy, the sooner you’ll heal.
