When working with patients, I strive to get to know them and to see the person in front of me. After all, we all have our own story & unique set of experiences. Patients are the experts of their own experience. I provide interventions, tailored to each individual. I recognize that mental health treatments are not always easy. I guide each individual through treatment, focusing on strengths and building coping skills.
To Me, Mental Wellness Is: Mental wellness is a balance of physical and emotional well being and we need to provide care to ourselves in each of these areas. I became a therapist to provide support in navigating the ups and downs of life, identifying stressors and discovering improved coping skills. I believe enhancing an individual’s day-to-day life is invaluable.
