My interest in mental health care was inspired by family members who struggled with their mental health and neurocognitive conditions. Treated unfairly and excluded from making decisions, they motivated me to become a therapeutic resource for others.
I believe mental wellness deserves the same care and consideration as physical wellness. We all share a common humanity, with diverse experiences, but at our core, we are human.
Specializing in trauma therapy and assessment, I possess experience in inpatient care, and practice from a DBT and psychodynamic framework, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for psychosis.
I strive to enhance patients’ understanding of mental illness, symptoms, and triggers, and help them identify and implement coping strategies.
Together, we can develop a life worth living.
