Psychology Today

I believe mental wellness is an essential part of an individual's total well being. It involves developing a favorable outlook, including positive thoughts and self talk. And mental wellness includes understanding your strengths, growth opportunities, and the tools in your mental wellness toolbox!

Together, we'll work on identifying the strengths you can capitalize on and the growth you want to see! We'll collaboratively identify treatment goals and work toward those goals together. My role is to establish a safe place for our work and to ensure that you're bringing the skills you use in therapy into your every day life!

I'm practicing through Vita Health. Our mental health practice includes online psychiatry, mental health therapy, and care for patients who have suicidal thoughts and behaviors. I’m licensed to see patients in Pennsylvania.

Psychology on the past

I am an LPC in Pennsylvania. I earned my Masters degree in Counseling from Columbia University. I have 30 years of experience in the field of Counseling. I have an extensive work history in a variety of settings including mental health and drug and alcohol programs as well as in group private practice. I work with a variety of populations including women, young adults, families and groups. I utilize CBT as well as a client centered approach.

I ensure that clients are active in developing their own goals in their treatment plan and assist them in taking steps to achieve these goals. I utilize a variety of Cognitive Behavioral techniques as well as the client-centered approach. I often give clients homework to complete as I believe they need to be active in their treatment plan.

I strongly believe that a good rapport between client and counselor is paramount in the client achieving success in their counseling journey. I encourage you to reach out and inquire about the counseling process. I know this can be a big first step for many seeking counseling. I will provide a safe environment for you to share your concerns and challenges.
