Psychology Today
I believe everyone has inherent strengths and abilities — let me help you discover yours. In my work, I focus on helping patients achieve change, discover their inherent strengths and abilities, shift to a solution-focused mindset, and increase awareness of their thoughts/feelings/behaviors. If we're hitting roadblocks, we work on identifying those roadblocks and getting "unstuck" — together.
In every patient relationship, I work to create a environment that allows for meeting your needs in an organic way. Then, we'll challenge negative thinking and generational patterns of ineffective practices. Together, we’ll cultivate an environment that helps you meet your goals.
I'm practicing through Vita Health. Our mental health practice includes online psychiatry, mental health therapy, and care for patients who have suicidal thoughts and behaviors. I also have experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and consider myself an ally. I’m licensed to see patients in California, Connecticut, and Colorado.
Psychology on the past
I am an LMFT originally from Darien, CT and am now living in sunny Los Angeles, California. In addition to being a licensed marriage and family therapist in CT, I am also working toward my CA license. I am not a “one size fits all” therapist. I have treated a myriad of presenting issues, such as: depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, suicidality, self-harm, ADHD, OCD, and codependency. I also have experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and consider myself an ally. I believe all clients have inherent strengths and abilities, let me help you discover yours.
I have experience working at various levels of care, from outpatient to more intensive treatment settings such as RTC, PHP, and IOP. Throughout my career I have worked with adolescents, young adults, and their families to address not only issues within the family system but also help clients achieve individual goals in therapy.
