Our Therapies

SUICIDE RISK REDUCTIONBrief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Our clinically validated, brief cognitive behavioral therapy directly targets suicide, and has been shown to reduce risk by more than 60% and deaths by more than 80% compared with treatment as usual — without the need for hospitalization.

An acute, outpatient option that specifically targets suicidality, our care is delivered online via video in 12 sessions, and is supported by our proprietary patient app.

Our diverse team of licensed clinicians are specialized in suicide intervention and care. They possess a wide range of expertise in treating suicide co-morbidities such as stress, depression, anxiety, trauma as well as PTSD, and relationship problems, and challenges related to sexuality, gender identity and discrimination.

By assisting patients in cognitive restructuring and the regulation of emotional distress, we equip them with the skills to manage suicidal crisis behavior, and promote wellbeing. Our goal is always to improve quality of life. Our care promotes wellbeing, improves quality of life, and facilitates an individual’s ability to engage in longer term, general psychotherapy.

SUICIDE RISK REDUCTIONYouth Nominated Support

Based on social support and health behavior models, our Youth Nominated Support Team (YST) intervention for at-risk adolescents is 80% more effective at preventing suicide death than treatment as usual.1

As a part of YST, adolescents nominate two to four “caring adults” (with guardian approval) who meet with YST intervention specialists to learn about the individual’s diagnosis, treatment plan, and best way to support them.

Nominees connect with the adolescent regularly for three months to support problem solving, coping strategies, and resiliency initiatives, and attend weekly online check in sessions for coaching assistance and resources.

Provided with tailored information concerning risk factors, warning signs, and communicating with adolescents, caring adults are trained about the ways in which they can help the adolescent’s adherence to treatment, and promote positive behavioral choices that reduce suicide risk and mortality.
